Bulldogs Discussion / KIA TO BECOME THE BULLDOGS PRINCIPAL COMMUNITY PARTNER FOR THE NEXT THREE YEARS« Last post by Bulldogs4Life on September 26, 2019, 01:03:28 am »KIA TO BECOME THE BULLDOGS PRINCIPAL COMMUNITY PARTNER FOR THE NEXT THREE YEARS
The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and Kia are proud to announce that their partnership will continue for a further three years, with the car manufacturer to become the Principal Community Partner of the Blue and Whites. Over the past three years as a major partner, KIA has successfully built a 95 per cent awareness rate amongst Bulldogs fans. Kia will now look to continue that relationship with Bulldogs supporters by focussing on an area that is at the heart of the club, the Community. Kia Motors Australia Chief Operating Officer, Damien Meredith, said the opportunity to remain a community-focussed part of the Bulldogs operation was something to be embraced. “To be accepted by and interact with the community is at the heart of any successful and responsible sporting or business endeavour,” Mr Meredith said. “At Kia we are delighted to have the chance to continue what has been a successful association with a very strong entity.” Bulldogs Chief Executive Andrew Hill was also excited about the new direction that the partnership would take: “To have a brand like Kia recognise the value of our Community program and the impact that this can have on such a large area is something that is extremely important for both parties. As a Club we are proud that we have helped Kia meet their objectives around our major partnership and we now look forward to working with them to achieve new goals through our Community Program," Mr Hill said. "Having Kia wanting to re-commit to our club is exciting and a show of faith in the plan that we have in place in regard to building for the future." 5

I think JMK could be an x-factor off the bench but showed really good signs in the later half of the season in the 9.

Bulldogs Discussion / SIONE KATOA TO JOIN THE BULLDOGS ON A TWO-YEAR DEAL« Last post by Bulldogs4Life on September 25, 2019, 09:54:42 am »The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have continued to add depth to their forward pack with the signing of Penrith hooker Sione Katoa on a two year deal. The 24 year-old Tongan International made his NRL debut for Penrith in 2015 and made a total of 47 appearances for the club over four seasons. The retirement of Peter Wallace in 2018, allowed Katoa to become the starting hooker in the Penrith side and he will complement the ever-improving Jeremy Marshall-King in the Bulldogs pack. Bulldogs Chief Executive Andrew Hill saw the signing as another piece of the puzzle in adding depth to the Bulldogs squad: "We are delighted to be able to add someone of the calibre of Sione to our forward pack in the knowledge that he will provide both experience and quality. We have continued to look to add depth in all positions and the hooking role is a crucial part of that. With the emergence of Jeremy Marshall-King as one of the most promising emerging players in the NRL, we are pleased to have been able to complement his development by signing someone who we think is the right fit for our club."
